Royal Institute on U.S. election: It just doesn’t matter

It is widely thought that the next US administration’s foreign policy will differ from that of the Bush administration. This is probably true with regard to issues such as Iraq, climate change, democracy promotion, diplomatic contact with Iran and North Korea, and relations with key Asian states China, Japan, and India. The speaker will suggest that the candidates are less distinct from each other than we might have been led to believe.

    While each state has its own rules of evidence, many states model their rules on the Federal Rules of Evidence, which themselves relate closely to the common-law mode of examination. ,
